Description
Saffron pistils 0.5g from the 2023 crop.
To color, flavour and perfume 25 to 50 servings.
The saffron proposed here has been grown in Quebec with great care.
Each of the flowers was picked and pruned by hand. The removed pistils were dried by small amounts of heat in a low-temperature oven.
Then the pistils were put to rest for 2 months to allow the unique aroma and subtle fragrance of saffron to develop.
This saffron is pure and free of any contaminant. It should be kept away from light and air. It is necessary to process between 150 and 250 saffron flowers to obtain 1 dry gram of the precious spice.
